The practice is led by an expert and committed team of physicians, nurse practitioners and oncology certified nurses. The oncologists at KCCC have extensive training in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Hematology and Radiation Oncology. Hematology is a sub-specialty of Internal Medicine and focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders. Oncology, is also a sub-specialty of Internal Medicine, and focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

In addition to their specialized skills, patients and families benefit from their honesty, genuine compassion and understanding of the physical, emotional and social impacts that can occur with a cancer diagnosis. KCCC’s PET and CT scanning is dedicated exclusively to oncology imaging, providing specific information to make informed choices.

KCCC participates in many clinical trials helping to advance cancer treatment therapies and technologies.
