Dr. Raja comes to Kansas City Cancer Center from the Bond Clinic in Rolla, Mo., where he practiced as medical oncologist and hematologist. Prior to the Bond Clinic, Dr. Raja was a fellow in medical oncology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and in geriatric medicine at John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii, John A. Hartford Foundation Center of Excellence in Geriatrics. He also served for one year as chief medical resident of internal medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Jersey City, N.J. Dr. Raja is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American Geriatric Society, and American College of Physicians. He has participated in numerous studies involving cancer treatment drugs and therapies and has been published extensively in such journals as Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology and Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.
