Dr. Talley, originally from Temple, Texas, graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Zoology. He then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed an internship, residency and fellowship at The Ohio State University in Columbus. Dr. Talley moved to Overland Park, Kansas in 1980 to become a member of the KU faculty and of the staff at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Now practicing with the Kansas City Cancer Centers, Dr. Talley is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. His areas of special interest include myeloma and lymphoma, in addition to his practice experience with lung and prostate cancer. Dr. Talley has three children.
