Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Mundis received a B.A. degree from the University of Kansas and a medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. After fulfilling his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Lukes Hospital, Dr. Mundis completed his Hematology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Mundis is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Carondelet Health and the Medical Director of the Carondelet Hospice Program. His areas of specialty and professional interests include Hematology and Hematologic tumors and clinical research. Dr. Mundis believes in giving patients access to all reasonable treatment options while remaining sensitive to their unique needs. He has served a three-year term on the vestry of St. Peters Episcopal Church and in his spare time, Dr. Mundis enjoys tennis, skiing, and attending his children’s extracurricular activities.
