Dr. Chintala completed her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and Breast program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Before coming to Kansas City, Dr. Chintala completed her residency in Internal Medicine at University of Texas Medical Branch in Austin, Texas, followed by a research fellowship in Phase-I Clinical trials at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She received her medical degree in 2000 from Andhra Medical College in India.

Dr. Chintala is board certified in both Hematology & Oncology and in Internal Medicine. She has participated in numerous studies and contributed to research articles. Her works from Phase-I Clinical trials were published in Molecular Oncology, Molecular Cancer Therapy and Oncology reviews. She is an associate member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology and has special interests in Head & Neck and Breast Cancers.
