Dr. Qamar is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine where he also completed an Internal Medicine internship. He completed post-graduate training at the University of Louisville-James Graham Brown Cancer Center. Dr. Qamar is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American College of Radiology.
