A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Davis graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia and later at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine. He served in an internal medicine residency for three years at Truman Medical Center and completed a three year oncology/hematology fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Davis is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Oncology and Hematology. He has a professional interest in hospice care and served for several years on the Board of Directors for Kansas City Hospice. As part of his personal and professional philosophy, Dr. Davis believes the patient always comes first. He also currently serves as chairman of the cancer committee at Baptist Lutheran Medical Center. In his spare time, he enjoys the company of his wife, two sons and two daughters. His oldest son is completing a residency at Mayo Clinic in Internal Medicine.
