Dr. Rabe left California after high school and has made the greater Kansas City metropolitan area her home ever since. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in psychology at the University of Kansas before receiving her medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine four years later. She completed her training there with internships in pathology and internal medicine, a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology. Dr. Rabe is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. She has special interests in the areas of breast cancer and lymphoma. Prior to joining Kansas City Cancer Center, Dr. Rabe practiced five years with Oncology Hematology Associates of Springfield (Mo.). She is an associate member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.
